Mai Ensmann is the Associate Director of the Center for Evidence-Based Cybersecurity. She oversees the administrative affairs of the center at GSU, coordinates local and international research activities, supports the development and submission of grant proposals, and develops specialized degree programs and executive training programs on Cybersecurity. In addition, she maintains working relationships with local governmental and business partners to provide expertise that is relevant to the Atlanta region. She has over 15 years of experience managing international programs at Brown University and the University of Wisconsin – Madison, and directing programs for international non-profit and humanitarian organizations in the U.S., Europe, Central Asia and Africa. Prior to GSU, she worked at the Digital Leadership Institute, a Brussels-based organization working to bridge the digital gender gap through education and skills development, innovation, and advocacy. She also served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Kyrgyzstan and earned her M.Ed from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.
